Denise Wu founded Rootique in 2023 because applying a hair-loss treatment shouldn’t be harder than the treatment itself.
She has struggled with hair loss since her late teens, so she knows how messy, slow, and uncomfortable daily application can be. She also noticed that the industry put most of its effort into formulas and very little into how people actually use them.
Regular head spa visits gave her the idea to bring professional misting into everyday home care. She then spent months working with hardware engineers in Shenzhen to turn that idea into Rootique DUO.
Her goal is to make scalp care simpler, cleaner, and easier to keep up with, so that a frustrating necessity becomes a routine people can stick with.
She writes about daily scalp-care routines, application technique, and sticking with a treatment long term.
